Entering the Santa María Cathedral in Vitoria-Gasteiz is the start of an exciting journey through past and the history of an incredibly beautiful historic centre. A historical tour in which visitors have the unique opportunity to take in a monument in the recovery process under whose foundation lies the origin of the city itself.
The Salt Valley is a, 500-year-old cultural and natural salt landscape that is currently being recovered to restore its sustainability. Since the valley is open to the public during this recovery, visitors of all ages and backgrounds can enjoy a unique guided tour. On it, they will have the opportunity to learn about the history, architecture, biodiversity, and production method for Añana Salt, and can benefit from the therapeutic effects of salt water in at the Salt Spa at the end of the tour.
