Vitoria- Gasteiz, 5th May 2010.- The second comic of the collection ´Roots of stone´ is now available in the Cathedral´s Store. It has been published in spanish, basque, english and french. You can buy them for 5 euros each one. This comic relates the origins and the growth of the Santa Maria Cathedral. The author of the illustrations is Jesus Peña and Joseba Gomez and Gonzalo Martinez de Antoñana are the scriptwriters. The comic has been edited by the Saure editorial.The first comic related the construction of the cathedral, and the second one tells it´s history from the XVth century till the cathedral became the cathedral of the new diocese. The collection will be formed by four comics that will cover the cathedral´s history from the begining till nowadays.They have been published 500 copies in spanish and 450 copies in basque, english and french together.
Comic Show in Barcelona
This comics will be also available during this weekend in the Comic Show that will be celebrated in Barcelona from this thursday till sunday. This year will be very special for the Basque Country because it will be the special guest with a stand called Euskomik Space.
