2010/07/09 On July (10th, 17th and 31st), on August ( 14th and 28th) and on September ( 11th and 25th). On August 6th there will be a special performance about St. James Way.
Vitoria- Gasteiz, July 9th 2010.- During July, August and September there will be in the medieval wall of Vitoria- Gasteiz childrens´ tales where they will explain the city´s history. The entrance will be free and bilingual ( spanish and basque).The Agency for the Integral Restoration of the Historical City of Vitoria- Gasteiz, in collaboration with the Santa Maria Cathedral Foundation, will begin on this Saturday at 18.00pm with this initiative for teaching the children the medieval wall´s and the city´s history. After the success of the last year ( on August during the weekends) we have decided to extend it to the whole summer.The ´Teatropezao´group will perform a funny puppet- show of 45 minutes for children between 4 and 9 years old, although everybody is invited to enjoy it. In this show they will explain the construction of the medieval wall and how the city of Vitoria- Gasteiz has grown. The show will be in the gardens of the medieval wall, so it is possible to sit down. The shows will begin at 18.00pm on this days: On July 10th and 17th ( in basque) On August 14th ( basque) and 28thOn September 11th ( basque) and 25th St. James WayInside the program for celebrating St. James´Year, done by the Spanish Society for the Cultural Commemorations and the Basque Goverment, on August 6th at 19.00hrs, there will be a special perfomance about the St. James´Way.
