Vitoria- Gasteiz, 23rd July 2010.- The Santa Maria Cathedral Foundation will be in St. James´Way on the next week. Two workers of the Foundation will walk in 23 stages more than 600 kilometres that separate Vitoria from Santiago de Compostela. They will also offer conferences in Burgos and Leon.
The Santa Maria Cathedral Foundation has been celebrating this holy year during the last months. Last February they organised a tour for walking between Elorriaga and Armentia, and more than 200 persons took part. In Juni and July they also organised, in collaboration with Asociación de Amigos del Camino de Santiago por Álava, some tours for walking St. James´Way through Alava. The last weeks there have been some musi concerts in the Cathedral for this celebration. But now, Izaskun Fernández de Castillo and Eva Reguero will walk the complete route from Vitoria. During 23 stages they will walk about 630 kilometres, and the expect to reach Santiago on August 17th.
