Vitoria- Gasteiz, 24th August 2010.- The group Alos Quartet will offer this Saturday a concert in the central nave of Santa Maria Cathedral. This group of classical music has collaborations like Oskorri, Kepa Junkera, Carlos Nuñez or Dulce Pontes.
The tickets are now available in the Cathedral´s Store ( Las Escuelas St. ,11) for the members of the Founders Circle paying 1€ , the price for the rest is 3€. Santa Maria Cathedral Foundation has organises during August several concerts and theatre performances, the concert of Alos Quartet will be the last one on the 28th.
Alos Quartet was formed on 1999 from the orchestra Et Incarnatus. The members of the group have a large artistic career in classical music and also in modern music. They have worked in prestigious orchestras like the Young Orchestra of the Basque Country or the National Young Orchestra of Spain. The members of the group are Xabier Zeberio( violin, viola, nyckelharpa and calimba), Francisco Herrero (violin), Lorena Nuñez ( violin) and Pello Ramirez( cello and accordion).
They have made important collaborations like the tours with the portuguese singer Dulce Pontes, the galician bagpiper Carlos Nuñez, Kepa Junkera or Oskorri.
In their concert in Santa Maria Cathedral they will present their new album titled ´10 Tanta´ ( 10 Drops).
The Cathedral´s Store ( Las Escuelas St, 11) will be opened from 10.00am till 14.30pm, and from 16.30 till 20.00pm for buying the tickets. The price is 1€ for the members of the Founders Circle, and 3€ for the rest.
