Vitoria- Gasteiz, 23rd September 2010.- Coinciding with the Medieval Market of Vitoria- Gasteiz during this weekend, on Saturday a wooden cart pulled by two oxes will recreate the way the stone blocks were carried from the quarries of Ajarte to the Cathedral. The cart will depart from Mendiola between 11.30 and 12.00am and will arrive to Plaza del Matxete at 14.00pm.
The Santa Maria Cathedral Foundation organises every year on September the Walk of Stone and this is the third time that celebrates this itinerary with the oxes that finishes in the city centre coinciding with the medieval market of the city.
