Vitoria- Gasteiz, 28th October 2010.- On this Saturday there will be an open to the public poem reading of Miguel Hernandez in the Santa Maria Cathedral´s portico.To commemorate the centenary of the birth of the poet Miguel Hernandez, there will also be several activities in the city.If you visit the portico on this Saturday between 08.00pm and 09.00pm you will be able to read the poems of Miguel Hernandez ( born in Orihuela on 30th October 1910), one of the most important poet and dramatist of the spanish literature in the XXth century.His live was marked by the spanish civil war and the stay in several prisons,and this is the reason of his sensitivity with topics like love, death, war or injustice.
