2011/05/02 Juan Ignacio Lasagabaster, architect and director of Santa Maria Cathedral, and the architects Leandro Cámara and Oskar Bell will be the speakers.
Vitoria- Gasteiz, 2nd May 2011.- Santa Maria Cathedral Foundation has organised the conference titled ´The tower of Santa Maria Cathedral. History and restoration of the city´s watchtower´. The conference will be offered by the architects of the cathedral and they will explain all the restoration works that have been done in this watchtower of the city. It will begin at 20.00pm in Luis de Ajuria Hall. It is possible now to admire completely the tower of the city from different sides of the city. The last seven years the tower has being covered by canvas, and now that the restoration works inside have been finished, the restoartion of the inside will begin now. On the 3rd May they will explain the development of this restoration works and the speakers will be the architect and director of Santa Maria Cathedral Foundation, Mr. Juan Ignacio Lasagabaster, and the architects Mr. Leandro Cámara and Mr. Oskar Bell. The conference will take place in Luis de Ajuria Hall ( General Álava St. 7) at 8 p.m.Free entrance.
