The Restoration Draft is a complimentary document to the Master Plan which materialises in concrete solutions, the updated proposals which were carried out in the Master Plan, achieving the level of definition of a Basic Plan in many cases. The Master Plan and the Restoration Draft make up, in a sense, the reference document for undertaking the definitive restoration of the monument.
The draft provides a precise and extremely detailed diagnostic of the problems which affect the monument and the solutions which will be applied in order to resolve them.
The proposals in this document have been tested on a small scale on specific parts of the Cathedral and have proven efficient, both in terms of restoration treatments and concrete architectural solutions.
