During 2009 the comprehensive restoration of the Chapel of Santo Cristo was completed, both its interior and exterior walls. During the works the remains of what was a roof lantern that illuminated the chapel from the top of its hemispherical dome was discovered, which led us to perform an act of pseudoanastylosis using some recovered elements but reinventing the overall shape with new designs in line with the aesthetic of the era to complete the structure of the new roof lantern.
